This Old Trike is here to document the life and times of a die hard trike collector who is arguably making bad life choices when it comes to expanding his collection of Honda ATC's. My goal is to acquire one of every year, model, and color three wheeler that Honda ever made and have a nice example of each. But I like to ride, too! So I have a few choice designated riders in the mix so I don't have to beat on the garage queens. This channel will document each model and what makes them unique, while maintaining some of the cool history behind these great machines. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Preston, in one of your videos you said there was a better vendor than others for reproduction seat covers. I have a near mint 1987 atc250es. It's current seat cover is perfect and aligned perfectly and is the correct color but it is missing the Honda screen print. It doesn't need one but it is the only thing missing that would make it perfect.

Do you restore some of your bikes or do you buy them like that or get them restored?
I learned pretty early on that it's cheaper in the long run to buy them as nice as possible. I try to buy original survivors as much as I can, and if they need restoration, I typically do the work myself. There are things I do send out though like some of the motor work or the shock work... powder coating... etc.
Preston, let me know if you ever need trike parts, I have allot of extras. Especially good Original tires that hold air and not cracked. Atc 70, 110, 125m, 200s, 200m, big red. Thanks again, Mike. @@ThisOldTrike
Your shop is coming along nicely. I wanna ask you to do me and the rest of us supporters of the Man a favor. Could you take a piece of black electrical tape and cover up the word Pence on that Trump sticker about the door please? He was such a let down to this country that he shouldn't be anywhere near Trump. Also I don't know if I've mentioned it before but you can find compatible engine components and other things for the 350x's on the 85 and 86 Honda XR and XL 350's specifically maybe a higher ratio sixth gear, it's something worth looking into, you might be able to make it outrun a 250R when topped out, a stock 250R regularly runs 80 mph which I'm sure you probably already know.
Thank you very much Joe! You're right, old Mikey P. did us dirty... I'll look for some white electrical tape so I can block him out. I did suspect there was some crossover between the XR/XL motors and the ATC motors. That would be interesting to check out. If/when I look into it, I'll be sure to make a video about it!!

Preston, love your channel and your collection of ATC’s. I have a really nice mostly original 85 200x. I’m looking for an old school six pack rack for it. Would you have anything like that or know someone who would? I can buy a new aluminum one, but that is not the look I’m after. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Morgan
Hi Morgan! Thank you and thanks for watching! I unfortunately don't have a six pack rack like that for a 1st gen 200X... but I'll keep my eyes peeled for you. I'm assuming you've already scoured ebay a bit? Have you checked in any facebook groups? It's tough on facebook because of all the scammers. I'll be on the lookout though!
